SHAPE’s Sport Business Management graduate triumph at IJRU Virtual Championships 2021


Chow Wing Lok, a graduate of BSc (Hons) Sport Business Management, Sheffield Hallam University, joined hands with 6 IVE students and graduates of sports-related higher diploma programmes to take part in the IJRU Virtual Championships 2021. The group proudly won a total of 31 medals – 11 gold, 14 silver and 6 bronze, as well as the overall champion in the International Open Tournament for age 16 or above.
 
As the global epidemic continues, the Championships was held online for the first time, participated by athletes from more than 20 countries and regions, including Australia, Germany and the United States, among them, over 100 were from Hong Kong.
 
Chow Wing-lok, upon graduation from SHAPE, became a rope-jumping instructor and mainly taught children. Last year, he took his career to the next level by establishing his own business with like-minded rope-jumping friends, offering courses for adults to further promote this worldwide-popular sport for all ages.
