Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship - Master Study (Cohort 2027/28)

To support HD graduates or SHAPE graduating students from the disciplines of Engineering, Health and Life Sciences or Information Technology to pursue 1-year science and technology-related master’s degrees in the UK.
 

Coverage and Awards

Coverage: : FULL tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses and airfares (~GBP41,000 for the one academic year in the UK)
No. of Awards: About 5 scholarships each in the past three cohorts
 

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must fulfill the following criteria:

• born in Hong Kong;
• both parents are Hong Kong permanent residents;
• be a graduate of any VTC higher diploma programme or bachelor’s degree programme of SHAPE;
• be a relevant bachelor’s degree holder in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Health and Life Sciences or Information Technology upon application or a final year undergraduate of a bachelor’s degree in the disciplines mentioned above who expects to obtain such a degree in AY2026/27;
• be committed to pursuing a 1-year master’s degree programme related to science and technology in the UK;
• have excellent academic achievements; and
• be proficient in English.
   

Online Application

1.     The application should be submitted online. Students may access the online application form, promotional poster and video via MySHAPE.
2.     Students are required to use their VTC SHAPE email address when submitting the online application.
3.     All online applications, together with the required supporting documents, must be submitted on or before 20 October 2026 (Tuesday).
